Scope
This policy covers this marketing website. It does not describe laboratory operations, a patient portal, or any separate product website. It is not a Notice of Privacy Practices under the HIPAA Privacy Rule, and this site is not offered as a channel for a covered entity to collect protected health information.
Information you submit
If you use a contact form, you provide the fields on that form. Those fields are your name, email address, organization (if you include it), and message. The clinical-interest form also asks for specialty or role. You are asked to confirm that you have read this policy.
Please do not include medical records, test results, symptoms, diagnoses, insurance information, or information about any other person. If you do, we may delete it rather than use it to respond in detail.
How form submissions are processed
Forms are sent through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party form service. FormSubmit receives the submission and emails it to White Coat Sciences. The inbox address is not published as contact text on this site. After FormSubmit activates the form, the public form address is replaced with an opaque identifier so the inbox address is removed from the page source.
FormSubmit’s own practices are described by that service. We use the service to deliver inquiries. We do not ask FormSubmit to build a marketing list for us, and we do not add an advertising pixel to this site.
How we use information
We use form submissions to read and answer the inquiry, to keep ordinary business records of that correspondence, and to protect the site against abuse. We do not use this website to make eligibility or credit decisions.
We do not sell personal information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use this site to offer a “sale” or “share” opt-out because we do not engage in those practices here.
Cookies, analytics, and fonts
This site uses Google Analytics (Google tag, gtag.js) to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects technical information such as device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, and pages visited. Google’s use of this data is described in Google’s own privacy policy. You can limit this collection with your browser’s cookie settings or with Google’s opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics. We do not use this site for advertising cookies. Typefaces are files hosted with the site, and loading a page does not send a request to a font vendor.
Your browser, and the host that serves the files, may process standard technical data such as IP address, user agent, and the page requested, as server logs. If a later host sets an essential cookie, this policy will be updated.
Retention
We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business and legal recordkeeping, and then delete it or reduce it so it no longer identifies you. You may ask us to delete an inquiry sooner, using the general inquiry form or the phone number above. We may need to confirm that the request is yours.
Security
No website transmission is perfectly secure. Do not send secrets or health records through the forms. Submissions travel to FormSubmit over HTTPS and are then emailed to the company.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The products described here are not offered to children through this site.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date. The date at the top of this page is the current version.
